17" Encore Flapless Dressage Saddle #8613: Buffalo Leather, Adjustability Package, Brown Patent Accents

This Encore has a 17” seat, and features soft buffalo leather skirts, with a doe-skin skirt and our adjustability package of an adjustable stirrup bar and a velcro area to attach the thigh block of your choice. The accents include a carbon fiber pattern cantle insert and brown patent accents. This is a demo saddle which has some mild wear to the leather


This saddle has an average tree size and shape, with 12.75” points, and 92/116 angles. This is a size and shape that will fit many horses; to try this saddle, we require recent tracings of your horse’s back to verify the tree fit before shipping the saddle to you. Often, the tree can be custom-shaped to fit your horse, if your horse’s measurements are near the tree shape of this saddle.

This saddle is part of a package which includes:

  • Saddle cover

  • Pair of panels

  • Four attaching discs

  • EQ Signature saddle pad (demo - lightly used)

  • Demo pair of removable flaps (lightly used)

  • Removable embedded thigh blocks in your choice of any of our standard shapes - or upgrade to a custom-positioned thigh block (requires testing and then ordering).

You may add stirrup leathers, girth, or any other accessory you’d like to purchase; girths, leathers, and some other items are available to test and return if you’re not delighted, and are discounted by 10% with your saddle purchase.

If you purchase this saddle, it will ship with all the items listed above. You have a 30-day right of return privilege; returns shipped back to us on or before the 14th day after your receipt of the saddle will receive a 100% refund (less any items damaged, dirty, or missing), which gives you a risk-free two week test ride, just like with all EQ saddles. After the 14th day, you will receive a refund less $150/week beyond two weeks and up to the 30th day after purchase.

Details:

  • When you purchase this saddle in our store, the shipment will be held until you have provided current tracings of your horse, so that the tree can be properly sized. We recommend taking and sending the tracings in advance of your purchase, if possible.

  • The saddle will be held for no more than 7 days to confirm tree sizing; if your tracings are not received during that timeframe, the saddle will either be shipped to you without custom sizing, or it will be returned to stock, and your payment, less a $35 processing fee, will be refunded.

  • Once your tracings have been received, the saddle will be sized and assembled in a customized fitting for your horse. If our workshop experts determine that the tree does not suit your horse, the sale will be cancelled, and 100% of your payment will be refunded.

  • If the saddle tree has been verified for your horse, we will ship the saddle to you, and schedule a 30-minute remote/video fitting assessment session with you to verify the fit and settings.

  • After your fit has been checked by us, you will start riding in the saddle, and verifying that it meets your needs and fits your horse.

  • At any point in the first 14 days, you may return the saddle for a 100% refund, no questions asked.

  • After the 14th day, and until the 30th day, you may return the saddle for a full refund less $150/week which will be assessed as a use fee.

  • After the 30th day, the saddle is not returnable.

  • As a used/demo saddle, this saddle is sold “as is”, though there is a one-year warranty on the tree, starting with your date of purchase.
