This 17.5” Flyer jumping saddle has had light use as a demo, and is in excellent condition. The current photos show the slight stirrup leather scuffs on the flaps, and light wear on the billets. Made with upgraded padded/wrapped calf leather, this saddle has a flatter seat/lower cantle for riders who prefer a more open ride. The knee block is underneath a molded area of the knee pad, and the bottom of the flaps are reinforced for durability. As it is a monoflap with long billets, a short dressage-style girth is required. The seat offers a wide, supportive platform for the rider.

For the horse, this saddle is sized with 13” points, and 92/133 angles. This is a size and shape that is wider than average, and is not recommended for high withered horses; to try this saddle, we require recent tracings of your horse’s back to verify the tree fit before shipping the saddle to you. Often the tree can be custom-shaped to fit your horse, if your horse’s measurements are near the shape of this saddle.

You have a 30-day right of return privilege; returns shipped back to us on or before the 14th day after your receipt of the saddle will receive a 100% refund (less any items damaged, dirty, or missing), which gives you a risk-free two week test ride, just like with all EQ saddles. After the 14th day, you will receive a refund less $150/week beyond two weeks and up to the 30th day after purchase.

Details:

  • When you purchase this saddle in our store, the shipment will be held until you have provided current tracings of your horse, so that the tree can be properly sized. We recommend taking and sending the tracings in advance of your purchase, if possible.

  • The saddle will be held for no more than 7 days to confirm tree sizing; if your tracings are not received during that timeframe, the saddle will either be shipped to you without custom sizing, or it will be returned to stock, and your payment, less a $35 processing fee, will be refunded.

  • Once your tracings have been received, the saddle will be sized and assembled in a customized fitting for your horse. If our workshop experts determine that the tree does not suit your horse, the sale will be cancelled, and 100% of your payment will be refunded.

  • If the saddle tree has been verified for your horse, we will ship the saddle to you, and schedule a 30-minute remote/video fitting assessment session with you to verify the fit and settings.

  • After your fit has been checked by us, you will start riding in the saddle, and verifying that it meets your needs and fits your horse.

  • At any point in the first 14 days, you may return the saddle for a 100% refund, no questions asked.

  • After the 14th day, and until the 30th day, you may return the saddle for a full refund less $150/week which will be assessed as a use fee.

  • After the 30th day, the saddle is not returnable.

  • As a used/demo saddle, this saddle is sold “as is”, though there is a one-year warranty on the tree, starting with your date of purchase.
