EQFlex ™ Panels are one of the completely unique elements of the EQ Saddle Science System. Comprised of acetyl resin material sandwiched between high tech foams and sheathed in leather, these panels provide stability as well as incredible flexibility, and move dynamically and independently with the movement of the horse.
The Classic panel is designed for larger horses and longer-legged or heavier riders; there is a bit more panel material in the center, which acts to distribute weight over a larger surface area, reducing the pounds per square inch. Most horses have ample room from spine to the heads of the rib cage to carry this panel.
Panels should last 5-10 years, provided they have not been damaged by misuse or poor storage.
