This 17.5” Flyer jumping saddle was custom made with extra grippy doeskin and buffalo leathers as well as sewn-in calf blocks for extra security. . The knee block is underneath a molded area of the knee pad, and the bottom of the flaps are reinforced for durability. The stirrup bar is set back slightly further than normal. As it is a monoflap with long billets, a short dressage-style girth is required. The seat offers a wide, supportive platform for the rider.
For the horse, this saddle is sized with 13.75” points, and 98/135 angles. This is a size and shape that is wider than average, and best suited for a flatter, more broad-backed horse. To try this saddle, we require recent tracings of your horse’s back to verify the tree fit before shipping the saddle to you. Often the tree can be custom-shaped to fit your horse, if your horse’s measurements are near the shape of this saddle.
