When accomplished equine veterinarians who also ride choose EQ, they’re often drawn in by the science, but stay for the feeling. There’s nothing quite like the EQ Effect: helping horse and rider move more comfortably together and find a better connection.

Jessica Younk, Equine Veterinarian and FEI Dressage rider, shares her experience:

“EQ Saddle Science has been instrumental in maintaining my horse’s back comfort while training and competing. As an Equine Veterinarian and Dressage rider, I have an interest in how the tack and rider influence a horse’s movement, soundness, and overall wellbeing. I was intrigued by the unique EQ Flex Panel design, which allows more freedom of movement through the shoulders and ribcage. So much goes into developing an equine athlete; finding a saddle that keeps you and your horse comfortable is a critical part of that.”
And the results speak for themselves. Jessica and her horse recently earned Amateur Fourth Level Champion, Amateur Prix St. Georges Champion, and Fourth Level Freestyle Champion.
Pictured with Jessica is her trainer, Jessie Meyers, owner and trainer of Breakthrough Dressage, who has been part of their journey.

We’re proud to see the EQ Effect at work, from everyday training to the championship ring.
